Default Safe to Turbo with a Blockguard?

I have a 2000 Gs-R and I just had the piston rings replaced. It's basically a stock engine (stock head, stock block..).

I want to boost it up to 300whp NOTHING more. The thing is it has a blockguard that the previous owner had installed.

The turbo I plan on running is T3/T4 57 trim, .63 a/r exh, .50 a/r comp. I will be using 440cc injectors, 255 lph fuel pump, log manifold..

Is this safe to run this setup with the block guard on?

Thx,

Heather

I've heard bad things about block guards. Do you have a good tuner? I'm also unsure at what boost 440's will max out since i've never used them but someone will know. You would be better off spending the $80 on an extra hour of tuning.

if its already there dont worry about it, other than that you shouldnt have any problems.

and you might want at least some 550's if not 650s for 300whp
