How reliable can this be? i just did my timing belt, and head gasket water pump, and a couple other things, new clutch. How reliable and safe will i be to boost 7psi on a t3 turbo?

What motor and that?? It will be fine if it runs good, has a solid timing belt, and headgasket. You could run forever on that with no problems if done correctly.

Your engine will be safe/reliable with a turbo ONLY if you get your car tuned by a competent tuner. Using quality parts does play a role in how reliable everything is going to be also. Keep those things in mind and you will be good.

so your friend who owns a shop and seems to know about turbo manifolds can't tell you everything you need for a complete turbo setup?
