I have a Greddy turbo kit w/intercooler. what is it safe to boost to. I also have a vortech FMU. I have 54k miles on my 99 stock internals DX hatch. I am currently running 6psi. my friend had a ex that he ran 10 psi for about 6 months on and neer had any problems. I am sure my motor wont handle that to well but am i too high or can i go up a little more.

 

Personally, 5-7psi will be ok with a FMU, anything higher I would be looking at doing something like a AFC type hack with some larger injectors, or going Hondata/AEM or whatever.. I have ran over 10psi on a bone stock DX for a pretty long time... but when I hit 13psi it gernaded..
