safe boost level?

Default safe boost level?

i have a 98 prelude with a drag turbo kit, stock internals, 12:1 fmu (supplied with the kit), vortech trex pump. i have it at 5psi now but i wanna know how high i can go till i get my bottom end built. any safe ideas?

My friend has been running 7psi for about a year and a half and has made several trips to the track. It has held so far. lol

with stock internals you can probably boost up until 10psi, but I wouldn't boost that high just to be safe. I think about 7psi would be a good number to boost at.

i have a manual boost controler, it is realy hard to get it just right. should i get an electric? also i have a ? about my in line fuel pump, i feel like i may possibly be running way too rich, is there a way to make it not run all the time and only when it is needed?
