Default Safe boost?

Car: 88 CRX HF
Motor: 91 B18A
Tranny: JDM S1 (looking for an LS tranny)
Mods: Custom 2.25 Exhust, MSD ignition, coil, wires, ZDYNE SECU, Mistu 450cc injectors.

I'm just curious whats the safest boost I could run on my Ls motor? A month ago I had the head rebuilt, valve job, etc. I also installed newer model cams for better flow. I've got a Zdyne so engine management won't be a problem...........

I dont see why you couldn't run around 10- 12 psi with that zdyne tuned correctly. It depends on what size your turbo is too.

haha... well the safest is none at all, but if i was to ponder a guess.. you wont accept that and will push it like we all do.. LOL

I'd say no more than 9psi with a stock fuel setup from what i hear.. and 12-14 if you have your setup tuned and get the right fuel/ignition/timing done... just remember to put highest octane gas you can in... (often left out of the equation)...

safest MAX I don't know.. but what he said sounds good... 12-14...

Sounds good to me too. I'll need to upgrade my fuel pump later down the road. But 9 PSi is fine for now. Since the stock MAP sensor becomes inaccurate above about 9.5 PSI. I'd have to switch to a 2 BAR map sensor and get a bigger fuel pump. Engine management isn't a problem........got Zdyne?

9 PSI on a B18B in a 88 CRX HF..............hopefully i'll be able t put down between 225~250 HP.....sound good?
