Safe boost for set up?
Im after a boost figure of what is going to be safe to run as my daily driver, our petrol in the uk is pretty crap at about 92 ron, set up is listed below.
B16a1 Stock block
T3 super 60
Arias forged pistons 9.1:1 comp
Crower rods
Uprated valve train
all new bearings
Using BRE to tune.
2.5 mandrill bent exhaust straight through
Looking for 280 BHP (at fly) so should be safe at that without blowing a sleeve but what sort of boost level is going to be needed for that and what will it safely take on a good tune?

Re: Safe boost for set up? (crispydee)
i wouldnt run more than 6 psi until u get tuned, then on a dyno see how much power u make at x psi. U can make 650 on stock sleaves its been done before.

Hey wassup man... I have the exact same setup in my car but I have a block gaurd and Ross Racing 9.0 1 compression pistons... Im running an AEM EMS so I will be able to tune the mess out of me car and im lookin to make about 275 to 300 to the wheels... Thats pretty much the limit of this turbo depending on your set up... Ill be done with the car in about 2-3 weeks max and this will be a daily driver running about a "BAR" on Pump Gas... Good Luck...
