so does anyone have any info when it comes to oil restriction on this turbo talked to agp turbos as ive ordered my down pipe flanges and bands from then and they say no restrictot needed even with -4an line just sounds like thats not right to me. thanks for any input

 

sounds right to me.... I am running a much smaller borg warner unit 4an feed no restrictor and works perfectly

from what I understand most the BW units have a built in "restrictor". you gotta remember with the oil only cooled turbos especially you dont want to starve them at all

 

Sounds about right. That's a very big turbine shaft that those units run. They don't have the same oil pressure/ oil galley requirements that Garrett, Precision, Turbonetics, Comp have. When it comes to large Borg-Warner and Holset, you're in pretty safe territory with no restrictor use unless using some electric oil sump
