S2000 muffler for turbo application?
Anyone given any thought to this? It looks stock, sounds stock, and it si said to flow very well... The inlet is 2" and the outlet is 2.25"... Can the inlet and outlet be cut and widened to 2.5" and the muffler still support this flow? How well would it flow? Keep in mind that I am doing the fabricating and welding... the only thing that is really going to cost me is the S2000 muffler ($75 shipped).
Any ideas? No flaming please, I live in MA where any aftermarket exhaust is illegal... so I need OEM style and sound, so i figured the S2000 would flow the most...and it DOES fit on an EK https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=748565
INPUT!

s2000: designed for ~200whp.
exhaust system designed to flow enough for an engine making
~200whp.
Want to make more than ~200whp?
if yes, muffler is too small.... its that simple.

What about a muffler from a factory turbo car??
Any ideas?
I have the same problem of aftermarket exhaust systems being illegal.

BUMP, I would really like a super quiet exhaust too. I have a greddy but I want stock quiet, would the magnaflow do that? I have a stock exhaust but the muffler rattles so I'm guessing it's not in too good of shape

You could easily put the muffler in the car but dont you think its gonnna choke the chicken a little. You arent goint to enlarge the inside and its got a twin loop. I personally would find another muffler.

Would you say the dynomax super turbo's are more quiet than greddy's? I'm deciding whether to do a whole new exhaust, or weld in a resonator into my greddy.

I have a Borla "Turbo" muffler with offset inlet/outlet, though it you can see right through it an an angle...with the turbo I would say it is only a few dB above stock. Very, very quite.

I put down 248 WHP with a stock type R muffler and pipping.
3 inch DP to a 2.25 cat and the full 2.25 type R OE pipping and muffler.
It sounded so nice all you could hear was the turbo spooling (until the delta gate opened up )
b18c1/t3/t4 custom blah blah in a hatch, so it was quick and quite.
