what supercharger would i need if i plan on doing it to a JDM D15B? would one for a Y8 work? my reason for the S/C is because someone i know has one for a Y8 and for the TQ of course
I dont know if that specific SC would work, but i'll offer you this. You'll make more power and have a better overall powerband if you turbo your D rather than SC it. There are several comparison threads in the FI FAQ at the top of the forum.
Even if you're looking for instant throttle response and good midrange, a turbo setup can do that and more for you.

i agree with you on the turbo but there are tons of people who turbo and i wanted to be diff and go S/C. i had that feeling that i wouldnt find one for that engine. i guess if i can find a quick spooler i can get the instant response im looking for
Being different is fine and all, but there's a reason that people turbo their cars rather than SC them. The supercharger simply doesn't compete well with a turbo setup on a small 1.5 litre. Sure, you'll see a power gain, but its nothing compared to what you could see with the proper turbo setup.
Look into a small T25/T28 framed turbo on a log manifold. That's a cheap solution to your problem. Something like a 16g would work nicely on your setup. Another option is the T3 .42/.48. That's a commonly used turbo on D's with your needs. Look around the forum and you'll find all kinds of good info. Make sure to check out the FAQ
