Default S-AFC install issues - help please

I posted this in another forum but not much help there..so posting it here:

....

K, I've got a old skool 5 dial SAFC. I just installed it..I wanted to put this in before I did my actual turbo install to save time.

So I hook everything up...when I started the car, it hesitated before starting.. It seemed the idle was a little irratic and lower than before...I drove it around the block..and it seem like each time I was in neutral or put the clutch in (w/o gas) the engine was going to die...sounds like I'm not getting enough fuel...but I have all the settings at each RPM at '0' so it shouldn't have an effect.

Could my air in/out wires to the AFC not have a good connection? ??

Any help would be really appreciated!!

**** update:
SO I unhooked it..

The problem with the pressure (in/out) cuz I left all the wire taps less power to SAFC (rpm & ground)...just reconnected the pressure as it was before and it was fine.

S0, I know I've got the pins right. but something was up with pressure in/out...I'm going to attempt this madness again on the weekend. Geez I hope it's not the SAFC that's broken messed...the car selection is correct..

If anyone has encountered the same problem or has advise please let me know!

Thanks guys

Curtis
