S-AFC Hack problems....Advice please.
Just done with my setup. GSR w/drag turbo kit. S-afc with Dsm 450cc injectors.
I set -40% across the RPM band 1000-8000. Idle is super lean...from the reading of the "Sensor check" thinging. And while driving...it goes way up to 5.*** instead of .95 or .85 as Liam had mentioned. What could be wrong with my setup? Stock timing...Help is appreciated.

I tried that sites setup and it did not work out very well for me.
Now I am using 440 injectors.
I have my throttle points set at 0 and 40
I run 15psi and it works out great high throttle set to -35%
and low throttle I set 1000rpm -15% and 2000rpm to -20%
and the rest to- 25%
I dont know but it works well for me

You have to run a smaller percentage cut in fuel at low RPM to account for the longer opening time of larger injectors, Hondata recommends adding back fuel to their maps after you apply the injector size multiplier. THey add back 20,19,18,17,16,12,9,8,8 percent to the first nine columns in their maps. ALthough these apply to constant pressure columns not constant RPM rows in the ECU maps. I personally run a -20% cut at idle and -35% cut at WOT. But I'm using a pressure compensated MAP adjustment circuit not RPM compensated like the AFC.
Also, since it's damn near impossible to boost with a turbo at 1 or 2K a -15% MAP cut won't make you throw a CEL down there. As long as your cut is -35% or so at higher RPM you can use a small cut at low RPM to smooth out idle.

that sensor check (ie blue wire mod) is for reading the o2 voltage. Have you done the blue wire mod? Are you sure your not reading your MAP voltage?

Liam, with the sensor type....do you set it to 6 for input and 6 for output?
I read in the manual that hondas are sensor type PR6 for Pressure and 6 for the number, but I'm not sure how to set it....with the Default at 01 for input and 01 for output.

Re: S-AFC Hack problems....Advice please. (ED9Hybrid)
I just did that...the sensor check reading still show 5.115 after a little boosting.
Gas prices is pretty high here in the eastcoast...$1.55 for 93 Octane.

That I dont know mate...but This setup is for a OBD1 GSR engine.
Can a stock honda o2 sensor (except the VX) even show voltage up to 5volts? I thought it was only up to 1.0?
Something here isnt right.

liam Yulp...I'm pretty sure I hooked up right. I have the A/F gauge too. When the Ln 2 reading displaying .85...the A/F gauge shows Rich....after driving around for awhile...the reading would go all the way up to max... 5.112 . It's like 5x richer than super rich? I don't know what to make of it Liam.

Me personally..i tuned with my egt and my butt dyno. I use my a/f gauge so i know my o2 sensor is working at all...haha The a/f is nice cuz it gives you an idea of what is going on (ie lean, mid, and rich).
Something you might want to try is replacing your o2 sensor..or barrowing a friends. When my gf broke my last o2 sensor (we donno how but she dented it in 1/2 driving around..must have been a rock or something) i replaced it with a new one. It really did make a big difference..the car runs alot better now. Something to try.
