bigwig and a couple other guys have been working on a fix so closed loop will disable upon map signal rather than map + tps. It sounds like they have gotten it working pretty well right now. This should help for a smoother transition into boost i would think.
Oh and i'm also having a similar problem on a guy's car i'm tuning. The car would run fine one minute and then the next minute it would be bucking all over the place at wot after like 4k rpms. I tried adding and subtracting fuel with no luck. It would even do it when the afr read alright. Then sometimes when it would happen the afr would jump all around. I think its a wiring issue because i used to have an afc wired in there before we put uberdata in. </TD></TR></TABLE>
hehe big wig is the one who tuned my car. picking up that new chip from him tonight.

haha nice
haha nice
closed loop is now disabled as is o2 heater. car does not studder at lower rpms now and it idles better then it did.
What are the advantages of running closed loop disabled?
Right now I have my closed loop enabled and my car seems to be running fine. Should I switch to open loop and tune part throttle? And why?

With closed loop disabled you can tune the mixture leaner than 14.7:1 for better gas mileage and you can ensure that you won't lean out in part throttle boost conditions.
it can also negate the effects of an o2 sensor going bad, as in my case. in general, you have more control over the fuel values
got another chip in with closed loop disabled and it works great, thanks for the input guys. i'm glad it runs right again. its a little rich now. so i need to tune idle and partials but its better than it was. thanks again
