Default running turbo setup without hondata?

well i have my turbo kit and im ready to put it on but i dont have hondata and prpobably will not hav neough money for hondata and tuning for at least 3-4 months considering all my money went into this turbo kit.

setup is drag kit with t3/t4 turbo deltagate wastegate and spearco front mount intercooler with hks super sequential BOV. my question is once i put it on what else doi need to drive my vcar with the turbo without hondata for now? is ther a way i can boost 6.5-7 psi safely everyday until i get hondata? any suggestin really appreciated. i simply want to know because i know there are tons of peopel who had turbo kits on the cars before hondata was een born and i wanted to know how they did it. oh yea the motor is a b16 thanx guys

No reason you can't run at that boost level without the Hondata.

Right now we've got a Integra LS we just custom turbocharged. It's on 3 lbs right now, but tomorrow we up it to 6 lbs. All we're using is a Walbro pump, Vortech FMU, SAFC, and Missing Link. We dynoed it before taking it out of the shop, everything checked out fine. And on the street, everything works just fine. No problems with fuel, boost, boost transiation or anything. Idle is fine, and so on.

If i were you, I would wait to put on the turbo until you can afford the Hondata. Otherwise you may end up blowing somethign up and be out even more money. Better to be safe than sorry.

ah ok so basically i can leave everythign alone and just get the dsm 440c injectors and a regular everyday apex VAFC (not SAFC or AFC) and set the settings as done on this website? http://www.thedropshop.tv/vafc.htm

the thing is my current ecu is a JUN ecu. will this ECU be ok with the VAFC hack or do i need to get a hold of a stock P30 delsol obd1 ecu?

u guys have answered my quesitons just fine but now after reading another post about catch cans im all paranoid about leaving the breather filter on my valve cover. there are so many peopel debating in that topic i cant get a clear answer and need to know if leaving the breather filter on the valve cover is ok in turbo cars or does it cause a vacuum leak.
