Running a safe turbo
Alright I just got a rev hard 2C with all neccasary piping and all. Now I want to get the goodies on top of it to run it safely and more efficent. I am going safc, fuel pressure regulator, and some gauges. Later on I will be putting in turbo timers and boost contollers. Just want enough stuff right now to run it safely. Now I want some of your guys's input on what else I can get to make my turbo the cleanest running. Thanks

Re: Running a safe turbo (TegTuner)
I would not get a boost controller. It can be the death of your engine, because you going to want to boost past what your suppose to. I would up grade the wastegate to a tail35mm. Bigger injectors and you should be fine. Just don't abuse it.

A Turbo timer is a must.
It's all in the tuning paul... spend about a good 1 or 2 hours on a dyno, and your car will run great. Maybe we should dyno ours together... a little group dyno thing

Re: Running a safe turbo (tegasaurus)
want it to run safe as possible?? get hondata and save the money on the safc, vtec controller, turbo timer, and excessive gauges. the safest way to turbo a car is to have proper mgmt!!!
