Running Compressor on Driver's Side
Before anybody asks, did a search. Came up w/ this:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=303430
FFGeoff said that you will need lose AC and get one of them half radiators.
The reason I would be running the compressor on this side is due to 3 reasons.
1. It's already clocked like that so it's setup to work.
2. Easier to run a filter
3. Easier/Cheaper to make a custom and more effective Downpipe.
The main reason being the cheaper, more effective downpipe with having less bends and what not. I am SO ready to install the turbo on the car now. But unluckly for me, I was not sent a charge pipe in my order for "piping". So I'll need to fabricate one of those as well. And honestly, I'm flat out broke. $500 for a DP, exhaust, and a now a charge pipe! (plus I need to get all of this welded) and don't forget the flanges. I still dont even have a flange for my BOV
Damn turbo - so expensive.
Damn College - never helped nothing except my drinking problem.
Anyways, back on topic:
Would this infact be more cost effective If I did this this way?
Or should I just find a job for the next month and install this crap come spring time?
Cheers.

Re: Running Compressor on Driver's Side (pub)
Buy some quality food first man!
I am basicaly in the same boat as you. College, and a new appartment has saped all my money for my project. Oh well.....**** happens.
Anyways, I am also going to be running my SC32 with the compressor on the drivers side. My reasons? Simpiler downpipe + better placement of air filter + easier routing of charge piping.
It will depend on your exact setup wether it is going to be cheeper or not. IE, wether or not you already have a half size rad, what manifold you picked, various other parts to make it fit....ect.
All I can tell you, is that in my case, it is MORE expensive, as I had to buy a civic half core radiator just so there would be room.
Its all up to you.

Re: Running Compressor on Driver's Side (Bryson)
Yeah, I don't have a half core radiator. Infact just the stock Integra radiator. Which there in the first place isn't a whole lot of room. So I guess that would make my job a bit more expensive. I was just hoping that I could maybe get away with it. Inlinepro Manifold.
Welp, the sun's coming out - I'm going to go outside for a test fit see if I have any clearance at all.
