yeah, I believe the AVC-R has these features...go to the site. http://www.apexi-usa.com
I believe this is how the venom car is controlling boost right now

whats the theory behind this? i mean would you want more boost at higer rpm or lower boost? if the front tires are spinning and the rpm is shooting up, is higher boost what you really want?

yep, the avc-r has it. As for it's use.... *shrug* I'm assuming it'll be helpful in a drag setup where you can limit boost in the lower rpm's to minimize spin.
That's what I would use it for.
Then I'd use the scramble boost to bump it up even more once I hit 3rd and 4th and traction isn't an issue.

I'm guessing for traction purposes? Then you can incrementally increase the boost (horsepower/torque) as the RPMs rise, which might keep the wheels from spinning too early if, say, you reach 10/15 psi by 4500 rpm. I don't know. . . .

It would be pretty cool if you could "shape" the wheel torque curve with boost and rpm. Being on the edge of traction through 1-2-3 gear would make for the fastest possible acceleration. And if you knew how much torque is required for breaking the tires loose you could shoot for a little under that.
