That guy is from the UK and I think his kit is a 1 off. I'm pretty sure he spent countless amounts of hours with the R&D for that kit. And I mean countless.

It's takes a lot less than countless hours to figure out how to make it spin the correct way on a CCW engine.

if u have a mounting plate, with a pressed in bearing, 1 side has a pulley to mate to the stock belt, the other side has a cog ... and run your charger off a 2nd cog ...

cogs rotate opposite each other

there you go ... countless hours ?

I spoke to Oscar Jackson about 6 months ago about this, he is still currently working on other projects but the idea is still in his head.

All you really have to do it get a pulley system with 2 cogs. If you need a visual example, look up 500 HP Supercharger by RMCDaniels here on HT.

It all comes down to how much money you want to spend and if you have friends with machine shops.

RMCDaniel's kit is actually a CW rotating M90 from a T-Bird coupe or some Buick product that has been converted into a CCW blower. His pulleys do nothing to reverse the rotation of the blower.

Jaker,

You are absolutely correct on that, I stand corrected.

You're thinking too hard. How about all regular multirib belt pulleys and a double-sided belt? I think you can see the belt in the video. Either way, it's been done many times before.

There should be a "real" kit made for a b-series.

The amount of money to be made would be staggering.

Everybody and their mother owns a b-series, so many people would buy it. Including myself.

Like I said in my earlier posts, Oscar Jackson is busy developing kits for production for newer cars.

He did say he has a soft spot in his heart for the B-series and the idea is still alive... he might make one..someday in future..

I even offered my car to him as a test bed for R&D but he had already acquired one locally.

Somebody should cad/machine gears and a CCW finned impeller for the rotrex.

If we don't cry about it, and make a demand for this, it will never happen my friends.

I think someone should really push the issue and make a prototype kit for a b series.

Or you could simply do it just like the procharger kit and mount it the other way around....

If you don't like that you could do it like vortech and use a jack shaft.

This had all been figured out already.

Sorry dude not happening, the market for honda's is a very financially stringent market. I don't know if you've realized this but there are ebay turbo kits that can make the same power you want to on your rotrex idea but the fundamental issue here is they cost 5-800 dollars, a rotrex kit with r&d, parts, profit to turn over will most likely be 4-5 times as much, and then you have the limit that is of a supercharger. Everyone that knows anything, knows that with turbos you can always get a snail thats barely oversized for your goals and then later down the road turn up the boost.

Again I'm not trying to burst your bubble but if you trully want a rotrex on your car then get rid of the ac compressor mount the rotrex however you need to to align it correctly and be done with it.

eBay turbo kits would require twice the investment to make them reliable enough to use. You gotta pay to play.
