well i have a gift certificate fro $600 and i wanted to get some rods for my car. i am going to build my block with pistons rods and maybe sleeve it also. i wanted to get crower but it is like $700 and thats too much. eagle rods are good but many people put HP limit on them. i gole is somewhere around 500 to 600 hp. so what you guys think i should get . thanks

^^thats what i was thinking also. it was between manley or eagle rods. what is the max hp people pull out on manley rods. also what other rods are preatty good fro 500 to 600 HP

 

rods usualkly arent rated by power..rods fail from high rpm....so if you want to rev the motor to 9500 get manleys
