Default Rod Bearing question

Guys, to make a long story short, i found out today that my rod bearings are going bad. There's an audible knock at low rpms.
Here's the dilema:

I WILL be buying new rods/pistons soon for my turbo build up. Is replacing bearings that big of a deal? Can it cause MAJOR damage if not taken care of right away? THe tech there said i'd be fine for awhile (define awhile) as long as i didnt rag on her too much.

Any suggestions??
Should i replace them now, or should i wait to replace them when i get my rods/pistons?!?! Should i go ACL, or honda OEM bearings??
Could my block be damaged if i let go too long??
Thanks!

I'd do it right away as soon as you can....you don't want your rod bearing to seized up and put a masive drag on the rod journal...it may cause the rod bolt to back out and eventually the rod cap may back out and threw a hole in your block...

or cause excessive wear on your crank. Since your replacing your rods and bearings they will be fine...i'm just concerend about your crank getting excessive wear.......thats expensive to replace

Alrighty, thats what i've been hearing from other people too.

Someone said though, that i could replace these by jacking up the car, taking the exhaust manifold off, and oil pan, then the rod caps? Can i actually replace them by doing it that way?!? sounds fishy to me...

I need some damn good prices on rods/pistons. eagle/je or arias. know of any dealers on this site that have LOW prices/!?
Thanks!
