ROCKET is still alive

ROCKET is still alive
Hi everyone,
Hi hope '03 has been good to you.
Someone told me about somebody bitching about a Hondata base map I wrote for them. For the record, Hondata's ROM Editor writes the base maps slightly rich in the boost section of the map to PROTECT your motor.
I have written many maps since I've become a dealer and most maps run very well. This is a testatment to Doug and Derrick's development of the ROMEditor software. With the latest version of the ROMEditor V3.x with the "autotrim" feature for calibrating injectors the maps work great straight off the programmer with very little fuel cleaning required in most cases.
Thanks to all those who support HondaSaver.
Speaking of HondaSaver, Sage Price (HT Member crxhfi) is now owner of the HondaSaver name. Sage is an expert engine builder and builds some the cleanest short blocks I've seen. The man acutally polishes the INSIDE of the block with scotchbrite. That's pretty crazy considering you don't see the inside once the motor is built.
I have started a new operation called ef-1.com. ef-1.com's focus will be on cams and valvetrain.
I have come to the conclusion that the "magic" of the Honda motor, what makes them kick *** over pretty much all other motors, besides having ultra high quality metallurgy and machining tolerances is that Honda has the "swipe face" rocker arms. This allows for a variable ratio (high) that makes for fast valve motion even with mild cam profiles. So when you run more agressive cam profiles the Honda engine really comes alive. (You should always run stiffer springs though. The stock ones don't have the proper pressure to run anything but stock cams and in some case it's not even adequate in stock applications.) The other car make that utilize a similiar rocker arm is BMW and their engines aren't too shabby either.
'03 is going to be a revolutionary year, at least that's the way I see it. I am glad to see H-T is as strong as ever and I hope all your projects go well.
If any of you need to contact me feel free to e-mail me at RocketMartin@yahoo.com or call me at 818-335-7570.
Peace.

Re: ROCKET is still alive (BLKCRX)
Cool,
We are mainly working on getting cams and valve train. We will also provide engine internals like eagle rods and cranks and acl bearings etc for the ultimate build-ups.
Next, will be block sleeving. Nothing trick, just straightforward sleeving. I'll keep you guys updated.
I also have some cylinder head projects I am working on too.
More extensive dyno testing will also be performed on my friends DynoJet 248C here in Santa Clarita. Like I said before '03 will be revolutionary for you guys.

Hey Rocket.....glad to see your back.
Funny, just listened to your message on out phone machine about feedback on the clutches. Well all I can say is I personally install and drive all of them.....they are freakin wicked man. Last week I put in the RX7's 6 puck and it sold me into buying one for my car when I get the cash! Agressive as hell, and still driveable.
