Default RMS Ryans DC2 fab/build thread

Hey guys...aside from building stuff for everyone else I finally got time to work on my own car. I was waiting for the engine/tranny to get done from Slowmotion for some time and when we got it back it was mayhem in the shop.

Setup is as follows:

Ls/vtec 81.5mm
Wiseco pistons
Manley turbo tuff rods
Ported b16 head
Crower valvetrain /w mazworx cams
Victor X
BDL 74mm TB
ID 1000's
Golden eagle pro series rail
Full Blown walbro kit (x2) -10 feed -8 return (I know its overkill)
M&W pro 10 /w MSD HVCII coil
RMS vband ramhorn manifold
Gt35r .82ar with tial ss housing of coarse
RMS custom made half back door IC with side exit 3" dp
Innovative Solid motor mounts
ACTxxr6
ACT 7.5lb flywheel
B16 trans /w ls 5th gear and Quaife
Gator stage 3 axles
AEM
AEM boost solenoid

Still waiting on Samco Hoses, cf hood, and cold side Ic piping
We still have to wire the M&W box and the fuel pumps but thats in the next week or so

Car is mainly used for fun on weekends and we want to make 600whp as long as the clutch will hold the power. Twin disk and t4 coming later this year. Pics....

This would not be possible w/o the help of a lot of people. First person I want to thank is my best friend Matt. Thanks for everything bro...couldnt do it w/o you!
Slowmotion Motorsports
CFT- Thank you fernando for being so cool and getting me the fuel system/M&W
Damian Borroto for always answering my phone calls even though i never buy anything! lol
Jeff/Mike from HS tuning for all their help for installing the engine and supplying lines/fittings
Tony Palo for answering some of my ?'s

Sweet. Slowmotion is finishing up my car hopefully by the end of the week. Are you trying to make the 600whp on stock sleeves? I saw you were at 81.5mm bore and didn't see anything about sleeves. If so, sweet, I'd be interested in knowing how that works out for you. Is Corey doing your tuning?

all the fab looks great!

What's the extra AN fitting for coming off the oil filter sandwich?
And what damper is that? ATI? why not a fluidamper?

That's a really nice build. I'm lovin' the side exit exhaust. It screams business is intended.

Thanks a lot guys its been a very busy last couple weeks with this car. Im running Darton Sleeves and the damper is fluidamper. Were hoping to make a dyno appt in about 2 weeks. I would never try to make over 400whp on stock sleeves, its not worth it to destroy a perfectly good b series block. Im actually leaving home now to go get my cold side ic piping from slowmo.....

Looks awesome! I like that you turned the turbo so that the hot side piping will keep the intercooler centered in the bumper opening.

How high is the car? I'd be afraid to scrape the downpipe!

Always been impressed with your welding stee. Why the switch from topmount to ramhorn? More streetable setup so to speak?
