Default rings?

Motor just been rebuilt, got about 500 miles on it. But I still see a little bit of smoke coming out of the breather. Has this ever happened to anyone?

could be a couple things wrong.

bad ring gap sizing/positioning
out of round cylinders
crappy hone job

to name a few

it's not burning any oil at all. Pulls hard as hell. Just a fine mist of smoke occasionally from the valve cover breather.
