rings?

Default rings?

i am building a sohc motor and planning on running a 100 shot of nos
which rings would be best?
some people tell me stock while others tell me total seal
thanks for the help

100 shot probably calls for a good aftermarket piston with matching rings. If you don't tune your motor for the 100 shot, rings will be the least of your problems.

You also need to gap your rings. Do not use total seal rings.

Can you elaborate on this? What's involved with this because I am sending my block to JG Engine Dynamics soon for a rebore, sleeves, and rings and I want to get the right stuff.

Golden Eagle is the best you can do, but a sleeve job alone is around $700.
