ring gap way too big ??

Default ring gap way too big ??

i m process to built my turbo block

i have 81.5 CP pistons

top .016
second .025

i accident file too much on second ring.
I need to know before put those ring on pistons..

Is it way too big gap ??

to me the top ring is to tight, and the bottom ring is alittle on the loose side (but i have seen looser)

id go 19 on the top and leave the bottom alone.

how much boost/power are you tryin to make.

higher boost/hp = looser gap

I agree.I generally use .006" per inch of bore.That would be 3.209 x .006 = .019".

I m plan to boost 400 hp
I m going file top to .019 and leave the bottom alone..

other question..DO u guys suggest me to go ahead file other 3 set rings to .019 and .025 ???

yes make all the gaps the same.
