...just one option. I would go custom if it were me, however. Oh wait, I am

Yup, custom sounds like the best option.

Yes, mix and match compenents that compliment each other and fit your needs.

As to what combination...what are your needs (goals)?

drag would be the best for the money but you should try a custom. put it together with all the stuff you want!

as someone who is in the process of doing a custom setup, I will give you some of my components...

Turbos - Garret(many many different sizes, the pros can help you out more here because I have no clue what will flow well with a bigger bore like that)
Turbonetics

Manifolds - Inlinepro(my choice)
SFP and Drag also make manifolds

Injectors - RC and Bosch make them...sizing depends on boost, etc.

Intercooler - Im sure you could find a used Drag one(spearco) on partstrader or Ebay. You could also go with a starion intercooler, also found on ebay.
Apex'i and Spearco also have intercoolers from there websites for sale I believe.

Wastegate - Turbonetics deltagate(many say it spikes, no personal experiences) The one I'm going with is the Tial 35mm.

Downpipe - I want a 3' one but I havent figure out where to get one yet....help me out!

Thats just some basic stuff. Im not a pro and Im sure there are others that actually have their kits put together and running already so they could probably help you out a little bit better.

i always thought turbonetics sucked...people have a lot of experiences w/ them leaking and their customer service is just crap...blaming you for hot shutdowns
