Default Boosted16 - Rich and no power

i just got my turbo put in, almost everything stock (6psi), but then i run an si and once my rpms hit about 5grand i lost evrything no power, no more acceleration.... it only happens WOT. also i can smell my car is runnin rich as hell, and its backfiring and i can feel the moisture wen the car is revved. ive slowly acceleration about half pedal and turbo is still winding and im flying. my friends tells its spark plugs, but idk. i just need some help to identify the problem.

got a t3/t4 setup(.60 a/r garret turbo, 2.5" ipipe, bigass intercooler, greddy bov, & tial wastegate) on a d16y7 with 2.25" exhaust, and msd ignition coil/cap/wires, just got new fuel filter, oil, plugs.
Everything else is stock

so you are running a stock ecu with a stock tune from the factory and expect it to see boost and run good

turn the fuel pressure way down and floor it - dont let off. you gotta clean all that carbon out.

edit: disregaurd my post.. you're young and dumb.

click the first link of the forced induction threads for the 'tuner directory'. you need to take the car to a shop and have them "tune the car for boost" before you blow your **** up.

You have got to be kidding!


First things first.

DONT DRIVE YOUR CAR!

Read up on what it takes to run a turbo system and/or take it to a shop like suggested and pay someone who knows what theyre doing.

Its probably to late though, but post back how your engines making funny noises.

my engine doesnt make any funny noises, and i found the prob my missing link wasnt working properly thanx for bein soo nice evry1.

i notice usually the dumb questions are by trial members... sumthn tells me they are honda-tech members but make new accounts either to f*** around or are really that dumb and jus dnt want everyone to knw who they are
