revhard BOV

Default revhard BOV

what does the BOV for the revhard kit ( vortech )sound like? ive heard all the name brands, but revhards, i havent.

also does the flange of revhard piping fit other two bolt BOVs? thanks, peace.

Sounds a lot like the Greddy S from the ones I've used, but it can vary.

They fit the Greddy Type S BOV as well.

my sounds like this.....pssshh--psshhttt--pssshhhttt----psshhhttt---. It's not a sinlge psshhtt, but a sequence of them.

mine sounds like a tial 50mm. one deep woosh. No high pitched bottle rocket Type S sounds. I run a softer spring in it and the valve diameter is much bigger on the vortec than the type S so I think that would account for the sound.

on the car mine came off of it sounded like that. compressor surge I put a more apropiate spring for 12 psi in it and it vents clean now.

IMO the vortech BOV sounds nothing like a greddy type S if anything i would lean more towards a Tial BOV. its not very swooshy or chirpy. around 12 psi its alittle on the loud side and give a real clean sound...i dont know gotta here it urself but i would lean more towards the tial bov on sound
