The return of jcaudill as HokieITR! :-)
Hey all-
To those who remember me I'm pretty much hanging around in the ITR forum these days. I'm cruising in a 2k ITR, #55. I must say I finally understand what these babies are about, make no mistake Honda did a fine job.
But, I fear someday in my life turbo will return. So, I've started doing a little research for the heck of it. I've done a little math, and done some compressor map observations and have found that the T04E "54" is going to be my best match. Has anyone tried this, or knows who sells this? I just want to start getting a feeling for what's out there.
Give me a shout!

the 54 looks like it should work pretty well. what size exhaust housing are you going to use? I would definitely go with a .63 but the exhaust wheel could be debated. I think either a stage 2 or stage 3.

they're little calculator is pretty accurate. When I do my numbers I always come up with a little more air flow then them. I think they're using a low VE number because they're a bunch of redneck V8 guys with gay engines that are totally inefficient. I'm sure there is some math behind choosing exhaust housings but I dont know it. You'll definitely want to go with a .63 the question is stage 2 or stage 3 wheel. maybe someone else here can help. I'm thinking stage 3. Those damn Type R motors move so much air and make a lot of power.
