Default Resistor pack questions?

Ok.. I'm reading that people are putting 10 ohm resistors in series with the injectors...

Reading Hondata's site, it says to use 7-8 ohm resistors because peak and hold
injectors are typically 2 ohms.

If this is the case, people using 10 ohm resistors end up having a 12 ohm load, even though your car wants 10 ohms....

Does this cause any harm? Is it only important that we get so much current
through the injector? (I = V/R) Do we know how much current stock injectors
like VS. what RC or DSM injectors want?

Do we know the resistence of RC/DSM injectors VS the injectors of Hondas with the resistor pack (since oem honda packs are 6 ohms)?

Why did the person who first came up with running 10 ohm 10 watt resistors NOT
use 6 ohm 10 watt resistors?

I dont know why 10 ohm 10 watt resistors work, but they do and very reliably. I have been running them for over a year without a problem. I'm not an electronics expert, so thats all I can offer.

... i am not sure either... but here's my theory... if you look here http://rceng.com/prices.htm at rc engineering's site... the saturated injectors run withing a range of 12-16 ohms... with a range that large, there is a lot of room for variation... whether it be 6 ohm diy resistors, 10 ohm diy, 6 ohm honda resistor pack, or nissan 7-8 ohm resistor pack... my .02...
