I just got 750cc RC injectors peak and hold for my car and my tunner said that I dont need a resistor box when I use hondata S200B, is this true?? my car is obd1 if that helps.

If they are peak & hold and your car is OBD1, you need the resistor box.

You can verify if they are saturated or peak&hold w/ a multimeter that can test impedence.

if your tuner told you you dont need a resistor box with Peak and holds. I would deff not return to him due to lack of knowledge with tuning Hondas.

The resistor box doesn't have much to do with the car starting.

The injector drivers in the factory ECU can only handle so much current. If you run them for too long at above their rated current flow, you can burn the drivers out in the ecu.

It might work for a little while, but eventually your ECU will toast itself.

Yep Dustin is right. They will work for a period of time. But will eventually burn out

Good test to try is too much current to a rated resistor with a power supply and see what happens. We used to heat them up in shop and throw them to the freshman unknowing it was hottttt as ****. lol.
