rerouting bov to intake

Anyone know what rerouting the bov discharge back into the intake does? I've heard you gain bottom end on a MAF sensor car. What about a speed density car.

on hondas/acuras, the only gain i see would be quieter bov "psssshhhtt"....

Thanks for the info. I like the bov sound, but it would be stealth from other cars and also cops.
