How hard is it to replace the seals on a turbo?

 

Hey I bought on of those rice cookers from the blue elephant, thanks for the tip....anyway you dont want to replace seals yourself, I dont recomend taking a wrench to a turbo for anything other than aligning the housing position. suggest you send it to t-netics or majestic or a truck turbo rebuilder, most places charge like 125 for complete Re&Re of dynamic/carbon seals and can send it back in a couple days.

Do share the info.... I need a ricecooker, the one my girl has doesn't make that much rice..

 

Majestic quoted me like $280 for a rebuild. They also quoted me that to convert the T3 cartridge I had into a complete T3/4, and ended up charging me like $450 bucks
