replacement turbo
hello i have an eBay t3/t4 57 trim in my car and the turbo is blown. i found a replacement turbo locally and i want to know if it will sut my setup. i am running 15 psi on a rebuilt stock internal d16y7 with arp head studs 450cc dsm injector spa top mount manifold 3" down pipe and don't know the hp # but i ran 13.94 at 100.4 mph 1/4 Et. the turbo that i found is a new Garrett t04b h-trim 0.70 a/r compresses and a stage 3 turbine and once the engine blows i d like to rebuilt it with forged internals and hit 300whp. sorry for my spelling i am from Quebec (we speak french) thanks in advance for any help

Re: replacement turbo
Turbo is too large for your needs and you will not be happy with the results, it will be laggy. Get a Garrett t3t4 50 trim .63 ar you will hit 300whp with that no problem and it will be responsive.

Re: replacement turbo
Consider this
A t04e has larger compressor wheels and housings
A t04b h has a rather small wheel in a smaller housing
Both should share the same stage 3 turbine wheel
