Default removing wrist pin ?

can i just get a wrist pin puller tool and do so or does a machine shop have something special to do it...i have a press also...what about puttin tem in?

let a shop do it, you may need to preheat is before removing it,

A shop is going to have to do it, especially if you want to slavage the pistons afterwards. They'll use a press, but they should have a special fixture to support the piston squarely and have a piloted mandrel to press the pin out of the bore squarely so that it doesn't mess up the bore.

Def need to heat the rod,,, you can do it yourself just b carefull. But machine shop would be preferred.
