you also don't evacuate the gas fumes from the crankcase that get there with blowby (present even on new engines in excellent condition). those fumes condense in the oil, break it down, and lead to premature cylinder wall and bearing wear in short order (not to mention camshaft wear, oil pump wear, etc.). we've seen several crvtecs with rod bearing failure related directly to this issue in conjuction with generic "ebay" chips or larger injectors.

I run a breather off the valve cover still, but when I dumped the pvc to ground my car would puff white smoke at idle out the exhaust so I put pvc back on and no more white smoke.

hmmm, ok, well stan is selling that endyn moroso modified breather tank, would that be a good idea then? that kinda sounds like it has clean intake manifold AND u get to keep the motor in one piece.

Yeah I think I was puffin cuz I didnt hook up a vac to exhaust, just dumped it and thats probably why.. Ill do it again after I tap exhaust for vac...
