Default Remove ball plugs (crank)

IS IT A GOOD IDEA TO REMOVE THE ball plugs FROM THE CRANK ?

If you remove them correctly and tap and plug the hole then its the best way to properly clean a crank. I would recommend you let someone who has done this work before try, unless you have a spare to practice on first.

just had ABT machine do mine. Remove press in ball plugs, clean the crank, tap it and bag it. $100.
