Reliability
There goes that R word. But i am debating on going turbo once the ol' warrenty goes up. I am going to be heading off to college next fall and I'm wondering about the practicality of installing a turbo and then driving to college(an hour away) but i would stay in the dorms. My dad and I are just not sure if its such a great thing to do. He wants the car to last through college and so do I and we're wondering if it is practical to do this before college or wait until after. I would like to know if maybe it is better to maybe just stay at stock boost(i know it will be hard) and do that until I'm out of college, or if you maybe you guys could tell me some of the problems you have encountered. I really appreciate your guys help
Thanks.

I turbo'd my car the day before I went away to school LAST year. My car has been turbo since. I'm on my sophomore year at school. The odometer reads 185k on my si and I run 10 psi. My school is 135 miles away from my house....Takes about 2 hours if I stay above 80.
I turbo'd my civic, 10lbs, this summer past. I go to school and hour and a half away from home (88miles, UConn) and she's holding together beautifully. If you take the time to learn whats going on and learn what your doing and know what can go wrong, how to prevent it, and where to look, and aren't stupid.... There isn't any good reason why it wouldn't last!
