Reliability
I am looking for more power as everyone is but i get out of town alot and i was wondering if it would kill me car to do a forced induction even with driving sometimes 10-12 hours in a day? (not all the time but i do average about 2400 miles a month and i need the reliablitiy) and i have a 5th gen prelude.

Re: Reliability (preludetospeed)
If the motor is healty, you get a professional tune, and you don't use shitty SSAuto parts - it will be fine. A 50 trim t3/t04e and a log manifold would probably be your best bet for good power, although something as small as a 60 trim T3 would be okay for zero lag and 250-300whp.

You can do this no problem as long as you don't cut corners. I've done a fully built 5th gen that drives from Washington DC to NY every other weekend and the car is definetely not babied by any means. It's been going strong for over a year and a half with no problems to date.
With a stock set-up, I would probably stay around 8-10psi on a t3/t04e 50/54/57 trim turbo. You can go higher if you want, but typically that's what I keep stock H22 daily drivers's at.

I don't care for Greddy kits. They just don't make power. Look into something along the lines of peak boost or DRAG. DRAG's aren't as good as custom... but they make decent power for what you pay for.

get another car to turbo or to drive. first turbo honda can be a hit/miss, besides the fact that your engine wears out faster under more hp, why waiste it on 10-12 hour drives.. just my 2 cents
