Recovered..Integra found in silver spring, MD
Thanks for everyone's condolences. My Integra was recovered in Silver Spring, MD. Unfortunately, everything's stripped " rear seats, hood, wheels, gauges/ greddy electronic, radio as well as my turbo. The only stuff remained were my itr wing and my wings west lip/skirt. The insurance will work with me on rebuilding the car back to its form but unfortunately, they will only cover up to $1000 worth of my aftermarket equipment
I'm glad my motor isn't touch at all. Damn thieves thought it was a STOCK LS motor. Since i don't have the extra $$ to start turbo again, i'm looking to trade the motor for a b18c1 or b18c5. Its time to leave the darkside behind.
If anyone here on the Forced Induction forum is interested in a trade.. here's the Spec:
motor has 4-5K miles only!!!
head:
port flow machined: port and polished job
ferrea valves
web retainers
web dual valve springs
new valve seals,
new web bronze guides
stock cams, stock cam gears
b20 valve cover
port matched intake manifold
bored butterflied and port matched TB
New timing belt
block:
Eagle rods
Arp Rod bolts
Je Pro piston 9.0:1 c/r

i say you let the insurance company restore the stock parts that are missing ... ie wheels/hood/seats .. stuff like that, then spend that 1k to put another turbo back in that beast. as pissed off as you are that the **** is gone, down the road its likely yer gonna wish you hadent got rid of your built motor ... i mean, i could be wrong, but i doubt i'll ever want to sell my boosted car or ever make it slower than it was for that matter
i'm already getting $$ back to put everything back to stock IE " wheels/seats/hood"
that 1 K i was thinking about jdm front end. My motor is built and i feel someone could use it more than i could at the present moment. I don't have enough to spend on pieceing up my turbo and then buying all the electronic/gauges again. Plus i don't want to take the chance of it being stolen from campus, i'll go nuts and personally drop out of school in search of thoese damn thieves who stolem them the second time.

the deal is that i didn't have "extra" coverage for the aftermarket stuff. Thats what progressive told me. They will only cover up to 1000 for aftermarkets unless i have notified them and paid a premium.
On another note, the insurance officer just called me to inform that it looks like the car WILL be total
Just parts to replace the engine bay was closte to 3-4K not including labor. i'll keep you guys inform.

thats very true fight the insurance company.. I work for Nationwide insurance and as long as u have proof and documents showing that it was on the car it will be covered.. FIGHT THEM
I have a question for ya since you work for an insurance company.
It looks like they will total my car and its worth 12,xxx. My question is will they give me the check for 12,xxx or will it be 12,xxx plus $$ for aftermarket stuff.

Even if it isn't stated in your contract? How much more is that premium for aftermarket stuff at Nationwide?
