recommendations for a intercooler?
I am trying to save a little money and not use a precision intercooler, yes there nice but just the price is killing me. I am looking for a bar and plate design though. That can support a 400whp max project. Any ideas on a cheaper alternative?

cant go wrong for the price, and the quality is top notch. I huge improvement over his last model.
i picked up the 8 inch, and i have nothing but good things to say about it.
platinum.

true they are good, but not 400whp good. Plus this guy is looking for bar and plate design. Sorry to say it, but you're gonna have to shell out the dough if you want get the intercooler you want

No there is a new street imports IC that has the bar and plate design. I had the first tube and fin one and that was still nice, so I'm sure the bar and plate is just better!
BTW, I bit the bullet and went with the precision 750hp one. Well, maybe it was because I found it for $400 brand new locally

How about (2) 200whp junkyard ICs run in parallel with a couple of "Y" pipes? From a Ford Probe, DSM, Supra, WRX, etc? It might make mounting a lot easier without having to cut much out of the bumper. Just my .02.
