rebuilt motor startup
im not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, and i did use the *search* but couldnt find anything..
i just got done putting my built motor in a 91hatch. is it possible to crank the motor without the injectors spraying fuel into the cylinders? do i disconnect the injector plugs? does that stop all the fuel going into the cylinders? im want my oil pump to get some oil flow before the initial startup

I always pull the injector plugs...crank it a couple times..plug them back in and your good to go...and no fuel will not go in without the injectors pluged in..

got my motor to crank a few times. i put in my p28 ecu, tried to fire her up but she just cranks/turns over. bolted up the CEL ground, and its throwing 2 codes, first is just two flashes, and second is 2 fast blinks.. code 22 maybe? any suggestions for the startup will be apreciated, my fuel pump primes so im getting fuel. not sure about the firing order, i know its 1-3-4-2, but what about on the dizzy, searched around but cant find out how the wiring looks like on the distributor
