I'm trying for about 250-300 hp, and possibly 14-15's in the 1/4.I have a couple of friends telling me to go all motor & some telling me the complete opposite, so i am turning to you guys. Good luck making 300 whp without some sort of forced induction. 150 hp/liter is still a bit out of the realm of gasoline N/A motors.

Even pro race cars like the L'Natural CRX w/ a professional built H22 had a hard time producing horsepowers above 225hp. All motor is fine...but in the long wrong to make an "all motor" as fast a "turbocharged" car..it will take a LOT MORE money and time.

turbo is the best bang for your buck. For the same amount of money you put in an all motor, you could be a lot faster in a turbo motor, but that's a given.

your civic with an h22a would run in the 15s stock easily... if thats ur goal go with ur basic bolt ons, nice headers, an intake, and an exhaust..

a turbo setup in an h22 is a bad investment without building the block imo... it WILL blow eventually... once built h22s are great for turbo though, and make nice tq #s

My GSXR 600 makes way more than 90 HP/litre

some honda engines are better to boost stock than others...
for example an ls w/the same engine management at 300whp could run reliably a lot longer than a h22
