Default real quick question about AEM FPR.

what do the different orifices do? the one it comes with is a 1.00 or sumthin and u can either swap it to a .5 or 1.5. what is the difference in them? which one should be used w/ a walbro intank, bosch inline, FMU, stock injector set up?

sweet, thats what I thought.

but I have to disagree on one thing, the thermodynamics of the LS motor combined with the AEM FPR will not give u proper atomization and will likely blow yo sheet up! FOO!

Basically it allows the user to tailor the regulator return volume to match their fuel pump. When using a fixed orifice in a "universal" regulator, the fuel pressure cannot be effectivly controlled when the fuel pump volume is significantly higher than stock. In the case of too small of a discharge orifice, there is a large pressure spike associated with a rapid deceleration because the orifice cannot flow enough fuel when the diaphram is fully deflected to the open position. This causes a momenarty rich condition, which may lead to a rough idle until the pressure stabilizes. Conversely if the discharge orifice is too large the adjustment is difficult because the response of the fuel flow out of the orifice is too rapid which makes the adjustment screw too sensitive.

Didnt u read the manual?
