Default Read my plugs and some...

Ok, here's the situation. I have a D16Z6 boosted with a T3 Super 60. At the time when I had it dyno tuned at 3.5psi with Hondata, I was running stock spark plugs with stock gap and everything. I think they were the NGK ZFR5 (V-Power ones) or something like that. After that, I bought some Integra plugs because I needed something a little colder. So I bought the NGK BCPR6-11 or something like that, but the weren't the V-Power ones. I installed those at the preset gap.. I think they were .044" and later re-gapped them to about .030~". After about 2 weeks and not even 1,000 miles later.. this is what they look like... (Yes, I know the pics suck, but any part of the spark plug that was inside the combustion chamber is completely black. My old ZRF5's insulator were at least still white after boosting on them at the dyno.)

What might be wrong here? I've done a compression test and got pretty much 185psi across all four. Also, when I had the BCPR6 plugs, I was running with stock exhaust after the 2.5" downpipe (don't know if that has anything to do with the plugs fouling out). So just today I got my custom exhaust (2.5" everything) done and put in some BKRE7 (V-Power) plugs gapped at .030", but I haven't driven the car yet.

By the way, I'm currently boosting like 5.2psi. A lot of members on here recommend using the BKRE7, but let's say you are just normal (out of boost) driving.. wouldn't the plug be too cold. Wouldn't it be like driving a stock D16Z6 with a 7 range plug, even tho Honda recommends a 5 or 6 range plug depending on climate.

Yeah, I had it tuned as soon as I got everything installed and it only boosted 3.5psi. This was before I had exhaust.

either you running very rich or 3-5 psi doesn't get hot enough to clean the colder plugs. I use the bkr7e now but i run up to 16 psi on my d16z6. before i had my engine built i ran plugs with a in the 6 heat range and they stayed ok clean but i was running 8 psi.

i think its the afr though because i used to run the 6 range plug that is recommended under the hood during summer months here in georgia nad not have problems.
