I have said it before and I will say it again. You can't go wrong with Golden Eagle or Darton. Both are great quality sleeves. Personally I always recommend GE, have had nothing but good experiences with their products. HD sleeves hold up to 70psi and GE's warranty can't be beat. Sorry if this sounds like a ad. for GE, but you have to give where its do. Just my .02

who's making a sale?? if you were saying that someones junk was better than mine i'd tell you how it really is too.. i took a block like that with less damage to bensons and he said he couldnt do it.. Golden eagle took it and fixed it and its ran for 3 years before i sold it still complete!.. and then he tried to tell me that he would try it but i'd have to pay more... and i have a deck plate motor from bensons that leaked like a faucet... i had to jb weld up the holes where it was leaking for a temporary fix.. in my opinion with the type of guarantee and how i've seen Golden eagle stand behind their products i'd never go anywhere else now.. skunk also backs up their products. if they have a defect or a part has some issue they are willing to look at it and even replace it. had it done myself with a camgear.. and there was a thread recently where skunk replaced some guys cams. and GE offered to replace cam gears if they were faulty. Thats good customer service in my book. better than any i ever had with bensons... not sure how his stuff is now but back in the day it looked NOTHING like GE's sleeves..

So I'd be good for MID, Right? Here's my B16A cylinder #1.

I wasn't boosting on it. I picked this up 2 hours from my city because the kid said he would give it away for free. He was just NA as far as I can tell, I happened to read the MID post Darton made and bam I took the trip .

Hair, dirt & rust ? Whats the big deal?

Won't be there when it's sleeved, bored, honed and then thrown in the hot tank about 3 times .

It's also no problem for GE, Get some price quotes. You could try Titan motorsports, They're in Florida and they can send your block to GE.

Who else besides Bensons is doing open deck sleeves? I thought darton mids were open deck, but theres so many superdeck names and sleeving outfits these days that I can't keep track.

Darton also has Open Deck Sleeves. They are called the 300 series.

Correct me if I'm wrong if someone else knows differently, but I believe Benson does use the Darton sleeves also(300 series)
