RC 750cc injector seal problem
I've got rc 750cc injectors in a gsr IM. The body of the injector is larger than the stock one but the distance is the same from the tip to the lip of the injector. I've run them for awhile and have shredded the seals since they don't want to fit into the IM after they are on the injector. Can I buy smaller seals for another application that will work? Thanks.

the tip of rc injectors is not made to fit inside the seal. instead you should install the seal into the IM, then put the injectors into the fuel rail, put the rail on its studs, center up the injectors and tighten the rail to spec. make sure the inectors stay centered. now the injectors will look then are kinda sitting on top of the seals, thats how they should look. so grab some fesh seals and reinstall the injectors.

Ding ding ding. We have a winner. They aren't supposed to go on the injector. They are supposed to seal the injector to the intake manifold. They go in the intake manifold holes. You place all 4 injectors on top and start cranking down on the 3 fuel rail nuts evenly making sure that the injectors go down and seal on the injector seal. The ones that come with the RC Injectors or the stock OEM ones will work. If the OEM and RC injectors are the same length than use the OEM seals. If the RCs are shorter than you would want a slightly shorter seal.

Re: RC 750cc injector seal problem (King Tut33)
All right thanks, do I still want to shave the inside of the plastic spacer on the IM side then, or are they supposed to be a bumpstop because the injector doesn't fit inside them. I didn't shave them before and it worked but I might as well do it the right way, thanks again.

rc told me to dicth the hard plastic piece, and just use their seal. i think they might be a bit thicker anyways.
