Default RC 550's saturated??

I just spoke with someone at ImportParts about the RC 550's that Ben has on groupbuy. He said the 550's were saturated. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought they were peak and hold. If they're saturated that's great new, but I have a feeling I'm gonna be dissapointed.

I checked RC's website and they list both applications. I seem to remember some discussion a little while back about them no longer being available in saturated, 440's being the largest. Perhaps I'm mistaken on that, the memory seems to be headed downhill pretty quick these days.

550cc saturated would be great, no resistor needed!!!
How much boost can 550's take with a Hondata 2B, AEM FPR, and a Walbro 255lph fuel pump? 15 or so?

Actually I was looking for others opinions. I was trying to find out if they were indeed saturated.

Anyone know for sure? I guess I could just call RC and ask but then we couldn't all have these great discussions

The 550s we stock are peak and hold. We can order the saturated 550s but they are almost twice the price.

Thanks Ben. I'm not sure who I spoke with but I asked about the 550's on the group buy and was told they were saturated. I even said hmmm, really? They're saturated? And the guy said yes. No biggy to me but you may want to let your guy's know what's up.

thanks again.

Dust, the rep you talked to may have misunderstood you. I'll find out who it was and throw him in the warehouse for a day.

What's the price of those 550s? Can you supply a resistor box too? I'm not happy with my 440s

The 550s are $295.00 and we don't have the resistor boxes.

Ben,so now that you and Dust have resparked my interest in the subject, what is the largest injector you can get saturated? I don't want to hack another "fix" or resistor box into my system if I don't have to... need to support 450 to 500whp...

Zeus, we can order saturated injectors for you in any size you want. It's a matter of how much money you want to pay for the high resistence.
