Has anyone had any fitment issues with RC 550 injectors? specifically d16 engines? I bought a set from superfastcrx of his car, never used them, and sold them to GOLDBERG for his d16. He says it hits the manifold and they don't make a seal so it sounds like its too long and too skinny for the engine. The model # on the injetors are PLE-550.

 

sohc injectors are a little shorter than dohc.

 

i though all honda injectors were the same . is there any way to get them to fit?

 

rc provides the correct sized rubber grommets if you buy them brand new for honda application. using the stock grommets, the injectors sit improperly

 

where can i find those grommets?

I know RC includes gromits with there injectors but I don't think they make them to use b series injectors in d series rails. I accidently got d series 550's so I machined my fuel rail down for them to fit.

 

ttt....has anyone gotten b-series injectors to fit on thier d16?
