Default random cel 1 o2 sensor, closed loop disabled wtf!

Turbo b18b tuned on crome gold, chipped obd1 p75 auto ecu converted to manual. I get an random cel 1 for o2 sensor, but my tuner disabled closed loop operation. So I doesn't make any sense that I'd get this cel. I'll get this cel about every other time I drive the car, it will randomly come on then the next time I start the car its gone. The car doesn't behave any different when I get the light and my afrs don't seem to be affected by it either. Any help is appreciated.

Crome has bugs. You've found one.

Oh great lol. I just swapped in a different chipped ecu with a different chip burned with the same tune. Hopefully that fixes it. I won't be able to drive it until tonight to find out though...

Thanks for the reply.

Took the car for a drive with a different chipped ecu and a different chip burned with the same tune. I was at a stop light AFR had been 14.7-15 at idle all day, all of the sudden I noticed they dropped to 13.8 and thought that was weird then the cel came on and afrs at idle pegged lean 18+, still idled just fine. Wouldn't have noticed it if I didn't have a wideband, but part throttle in vacuum seemed to be super lean and the car hesitated a little, afrs in any boost stayed normal. I pulled over and checked the cel and it was for o2 sensor, I don't even have one in the car lol. Restarted the car and no more cel and afrs were back to normal at all times.

Can someone shed some light on what's happening? Is crome pro really that shitty? I've had other setups tuned on crome without issues in the past. I'm really thinking about upgrading to Neptune rtp over winter, but I want to figure out exactly what's going on with this first. Thanks guys.

I hate to keep bumping this retarted thread but this **** is stupid. Now when I get this cel my afrs in boost go really lean 13-1 when check engine light is off afrs are 11.4-1 witch is right what it was tuned for. This cel 1 o2 shouldn't even exist with closed loop disabled. I've tryed 2 different ecus and 3 different chips burned with my tune on it. What the hell is causing this **** to happen? Any insight would be great as I'm completely stumped and can't find any info on this problem.

I get one slow blink when I jump the connector. I'm pretty sure that's code 1 unless I'm really stupid lol.

I have an aem wideband in the car. IMO every turbo car should have one. My engine would have been toasted already if I didn't have one to monitor afrs.
