Default Radiator Scoop?

Hey guys, I have a question for all of you.

To help with cooling do any of you have a piece of sheetmetal blocking the front of the car next to the radiator to force air to pass the radiator? If so any pics? Is it worth it to do? I am thinking of making one to help out with cooling. Thanks

From what i've seen, the non-ac cars like a CX came with them. IIRC, my 94 CX had it.

If you are having temp issues, I'd say use it. Otherwise, underhood temps will probably be helped a bit by not running it.

as said if your not rocking A/C then put a piece of sheetmetal there.

Air takes the path of least resistance. It is easier for air to go AROUND your radiator if there is a way, then go through the radiator.

On my last setup I ran a stock fan with a shroud on a PWR radiator. My coolant temps boosting were 187F - 192F, 192F - 195F driving and 198F - 202F sitting. I saw over 202F once. That's when my radiator hose slid off. It got up to 215F during a pass
